At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 17, 2025, Central Special Education teacher LeeAnn Pressler was named the District Teacher of the Year. She was introduced at the event by student Jesse Pippin.
History teacher Jason Welchel was honored as Central's Rising Star Teacher, an award for teachers with one to four years of experience.
Central Special Education Paraprofessional Kendra Britton was recognized as its Classified Person of the Year.
