Middle school students are issued Chromebooks they transport to and from school daily. A lost charger costs $30, a broken screen costs $40, and losing the Chromebook & case costs $325. However, insurance is available for $26 online that covers 100% of the cost of a first incident and 50% for a second incident. The insurance lasts for one school year.
Once they have a PowerSchool account, parents of students in grades 6-8 can pay in advance for the optional annual Chromebook insurance. That should now work for students entering grades 7 and 8, while purchases for those entering grade 6 should be available starting on July 17, 2025. (Paying in advance will also speed up the registrations at Central on July 30-31, but parents can also purchase the insurance at registration for about $26 if paying with a credit/debit card or $30 if paying with cash.)
Parents of students in grades 6-8 can go to ok-bartlesville.intouchreceipting.com and use the student's ID number as the username and the student's capitalized last name as the password and renew the annual insurance for the new school year, OR they can use Purchases and Payments within PowerSchool.
